Do you want to join a high-achieving, forward-thinking department? If so, this is an excellent opportunity for you, we are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable teacher who is committed to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.
In 2024, our students achieved outstanding results: 89.7% attained Grade 5 or above in GCSE Mathematics, 88.5% secured A*-C at A Level, and 100% achieved A*-C in Further Mathematics - all significantly above national averages. These results reflect the department’s ongoing focus on exceptional teaching and a strong culture of continuous professional development.
We believe mathematics should be meaningful and accessible to all. Our enrichment programme offers a wide range of opportunities for students to deepen their learning beyond the classroom, including additional qualifications such as Edexcel Level 2 & 3 Algebra, OCR Additional Maths, and AQA Further Maths.
Since the launch of our Sixth Form in 2017, A Level Mathematics has become one of the most popular subjects, with over 200 students currently enrolled and more than 40 of them studying Further Maths. This growth highlights our engaging learning environment, excellent teaching, and the strong rapport between staff and students.
