Job summary

Astrea Academy Trust seeks a Regional Lead Practitioner for Mathematics to drive excellence across its Cambridgeshire secondary schools while continuing to teach. You will deliver high-quality lessons, support curriculum development, and mentor staff within a knowledge-rich, explicit instruction framework.

You will work with our Secondary Education Team, receiving guidance from subject experts to raise student outcomes and social mobility across trust schools.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated excellence in teaching Mathematics.
• Proven track record of improving student outcomes.
• Ability to design and implement a knowledge-rich curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Raise KS4 Mathematics achievement through excellent lessons and targeted support.
• Lead on curriculum design and implementation for KS4.
• Provide subject expertise to the Astrea Secondary Curriculum Team.
• Collaborate with Regional Lead Practitioners, National Subject Leads, and Heads of Department to develop resources and policies.
