We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join our secondary school team, delivering high-quality teaching acrossKey Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge, a passion for mathematics, and the ability to inspire students of all abilities to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love of mathematics and builds student confidence.
  • Use a range of assessment methods to monitor progress and provide effective feedback.
  • Support students in preparing for GCSE mathematics examinations.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, departmental planning, and resource creation.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives, CPD, and extracurricular activities such as maths clubs or competitions.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.

Person Specification:Essentials:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
  • Experience teaching mathematics at secondary level.
  • Strong understanding of the KS3 and KS4 mathematics curriculum.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
