Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity starting in September 2025? Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in North Sheffield for a full-time maternity cover position.

About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school community. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring progress and engagement in line with the national curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Mathematics

  • Plan and assess in accordance with school policies and curriculum requirements

  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Support students in achieving academic success and personal growth

  • Participate in departmental meetings and school life as a full member of staff

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)

  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
