Position: Math teacher

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire

Hours: Full time, Part time, Term time

Salary Details: Up to £43,680 per annum DOE

Cambian Northampton School is an independent specialist provision that provides quality and personalised education for young people aged 11 to 16 with ongoing social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH).

Qualifications & Experience
  • Suitable education qualifications such as QTS, a teaching degree or degree and PGCE.
  • Successful experience of implementing positive behaviour support strategies.
  • Knowledge of inclusive education that challenges students to reach meaningful outcomes for increased independence.
  • Knowledge of current curriculum developments.
  • Knowledge of child and adult safeguarding procedures.
  • Understanding of the principles of good curriculum provision.

  • A commitment to working in an inclusive setting.
  • An awareness, understanding and commitment to equal opportunities.
  • A working knowledge of SEN, particularly with reference to SEMH.
