Responsibilities

• Provide operational and professional leadership for the Labour Ward Triage department, ensuring 24/7 cover for safe, high-quality, woman-centred care.
• Maintain clinical expertise and undertake Band 7 duties as required by service needs.
• Be accountable for actions in line with the Code of Professional Conduct and contribute to targets and policies.
• Demonstrate highly developed communication skills to maintain service quality and manage events, including on-call responsibilities.
• Advise on national, local and Trust policy and procedures, and support service development and governance.
