A regional healthcare provider in Wales is looking for a Maternity Service User/Patient Experience Midwife. This part-time role involves engaging with mothers and birthing families to improve service delivery. Candidates should be registered Midwives with strong communication and leadership skills. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £48,527 to £55,532 per annum, pro rata.
Hywel Dda University Health Board has an exciting opportunity for a registered Midwife to actively seek the opinion of mothers/birthing people and their families to inform service development and delivery.
This is a part time (22.5 hours per week), Permanent, Band 7 vacancy.
The post holder will demonstrate an advanced knowledge of patient experience and engagement and the patient related aspects of the Health Board's Strategic Equality Plan and the NHS Wales 'Putting Things Right' framework.
Excellent IT skills are essential as is the ability to be an effective communicator with good leadership and interpersonal skills.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
