The Nursing and Midwifery Council is seeking an experienced Maternity Regulation Liaison Lead in London or Edinburgh. You will provide midwifery regulatory expertise to operational teams and leaders, shaping intelligence into practice improvements.

Reporting to the Assistant Director for Midwifery, you will triangulate data from fitness to practise, education QA, and policy to support public protection and regulatory activity.

Formación

• Master’s-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of professional regulation, public protection, safeguarding and risk assessment.
• Ability to analyse large volumes of complex information and identify patterns, risks and learning.
• Excellent written skills to produce clear, evidence-based reports.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional midwifery and regulatory expertise to teams and leaders.
• Lead development of regulatory intelligence and learning across maternity services.
• Triangulate information from fitness to practise, adjudications, QA, revalidation and research.
• Translate intelligence into improvements in education, practice, guidance and policy.
• Contribute specialist midwifery input to regulatory policy, standards and communications.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across the UK and externally.
