A leading healthcare trust in the United Kingdom is seeking an efficient administrative professional to manage patient details and appointment bookings. The role requires effective communication skills and the ability to operate various healthcare-related computer systems. Working in a team with little or no supervision at times. Operate 4 computer systems: CMIS, ICE, iPM, and Evolve. Input patient details and accurate medical information onto the systems. Update patient details on all systems as required.
Ensure documentation is available in advance for antenatal clinic appointments. Make new booking appointments in the New-Booking diary from Midwives and create appointment/letters to send to patients. Take calls from women who want to 'self-refer' for maternity services.
Make appointments on iPM for clinic follow-up appointments and patients and GP's as required. Ensure effective communication pathways within the multi-disciplinary team and external agencies. Maintain a non-judgemental and supportive environment for colleagues.
