An established agency is seeking a qualified Maternity Night Nurse to support first-time parents with their newborn. Role: First-time parents are seeking support and guidance for their newborn, expected in mid-June. They require an experienced Maternity Night Nurse to provide advice on feeding techniques, safe sleep practices, and gentle baby-led routines.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Maternity Practitioner with current knowledge and extensive night experience. As new parents, they are eager to learn from the night nurse while also ensuring they get adequate rest.
Job Start Date: Mid June 2025
Length of contract: 6-8 weeks, but may extend
Location: Central London
Suggested hourly rate: £20ph
Hours of work: 9pm – 7am
Days required: 4-6 days per week
Specialist or expert required: Qualified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: 12hr First Aid, DBS and Maternity Practitioner
Accommodation for time off: N/A Nights only

It is usual for Maternity Nurses and Consultants to be self-employed, and you will be required to issue your own contract for services, Unique Tax Reference number to our clients at offer stage.
For all roles with children and the vulnerable you must have an up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate which is registered on the update service, a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate and a minimum of 2 professional referees who are happy for you to share their contact details to our recruiters. One of your references must be your current or last employer and both references must be immediately contactable. We also recommend that you have appropriate personal insurance.
