Job description

Role: A Maternity Night Nurse is needed for first-time parents expecting their baby in early July. The mother requires support during her recovery from a c-section. Experience with breastfeeding techniques would be beneficial, as the mother plans to breastfeed. The family aims to learn as much as possible to support and care for their newborn. Guidance on safe sleep practices and gentle routines will be appreciated.
This position may extend beyond the 6 weeks, the family may also ask for some day support, this will be agreed in advance.
Job Start Date: 6th July 2025
Length of contract: 6 weeks
Location: Stevenage, Herts
Suggested hourly rate: £20ph
Hours of work: 9pm – 6am or 10pm – 7am
Days required: Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday
Specialist or expert required: Qualified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
