As a nurse/midwife, you'll lead vaccination services for pregnant individuals, ensuring safety and effectiveness. Would you like to work in a highly motivated and friendly Maternity vaccination team covering Bath, North East Somerset, and West Wiltshire? This is an exciting opportunity to join a new service, where you will work as part of a dynamic team delivering a safe and effective vaccination service for pregnant people across multiple sites within the remit of Royal United Hospital Bath NHS Trust services.
We are looking for nurse/midwives with an interest in Public Health who are keen to work with us to ensure we have a universal offer in place for vaccinations given within maternity services. Leading on the vaccination service for influenza, COVID-19, pertussis vaccinations in pregnancy, and the BCG vaccination for newborns, they will in future support the roll-out of the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccination programme.
Rated 'Outstanding' in our latest CQC review, our service includes an acute unit, two standalone birth centres, two community midwifery-led hubs, a 24-hour Maternity Assessment Unit, and plans for an alongside midwifery unit at the RUH site.
