Job summary

Severnside Medical Practice in Gloucester is seeking a Maternity Cover Salaried GP for 4-6 months with 4 sessions per week, currently on Tuesdays and Fridays. The post offers an immediate start with the prospect of a permanent position in the team, supported by a friendly clinical group.

You will join a practice with GP partners, salaried GPs, paramedics, nurses and a healthcare assistant, working within primary care and contributing to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Qualified GP with current UK registration.
• Willing to consider retainer scheme for flexibility.
• Experience in general practice and commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• See a variety of clinical duties including surgery consultations, telephone, and video consultations.
• Undertake home visits and manage repeat prescriptions and queries in a timely manner.
• Make autonomous clinical decisions within policies and guidelines.
• Record clear, contemporaneous notes to standard.
• Prescribe appropriately within formulary and guidance.
