Job summary

Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly motivated registered midwife with a passion for education to join the maternity team as Practice Development Midwife. The role combines clinical work with leading the mandatory training programme and oversight of national standards.

You will deliver ongoing training for all staff, mentor learners, supervise new skills, and provide specialist knowledge across divisions, while remaining hands-on in periods of high acuity.

Qualifications

• Registered midwife with current NMC registration.
• Experience in education and training delivery is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead on mandatory training programmes for midwives.
• Deliver and coordinate ongoing clinical teaching and staff education across divisions.
• Provide specialist knowledge and coaching to all staff in relation to midwifery care.
