Element Materials Technologies seeks to recruit a Materials Testing Engineer (Hydrogen) interested in material testing and characterization, with a particular focus on hydrogen environments.
As a member of the operations team in our Hitchin laboratory, the Materials Testing Engineer (Hydrogen) position in close co-operation with technical lead performs and develops a variety of routine and non-routine testing, analysis, and technical investigation assignments. The engineer must be proficient in a number of core technical and business skills including but not limited to fundamentals of mechanical engineering and compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.
This is a hands-on role which involves laboratory testing of both large components and small coupon type samples, contact with customers and other laboratories within Element as well as managing of projects including writing of technical reports.
