Job summary

Darvick Ltd is offering a Laboratory Scientist Materials Degree Apprenticeship (Level 6) in Brierley Hill. You will work towards a fully funded degree while gaining hands-on experience in materials testing and analysis.

You will join a dynamic laboratory and field team, conducting tests on metallic and composite materials, and reporting findings while operating, calibrating and maintaining test equipment in a UKAS-accredited BS EN ISO 17025 environment.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship at Level 6 toward a fully funded degree.
• BS EN ISO 17025 quality management system and UKAS accredited scope.
• Experience analyzing testing requirements and reporting results.

Responsibilities

• Test and report on customer products and materials.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain test equipment and records.
• Analyse customer requirements to specify testing jobs.
• Work as part of a team to deliver organisational priorities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and participate in company projects.
• Adopt safe working practices and undertake health and safety training.
