Would you like to gain worldwide accreditations? Wanted to be trained on the job while being fully paid? Do you like driving and having autonomy? If yes to any of the above - please read on.

Our client requires a Field Technician to join their team on an initial temporary basis with a view to full-time employment. Working within the materials testing division of a leading UK provider of testing services, this is very much a hands-on role and will involve driving to various sites and taking samples for testing.

Main Duties
  1. Site Work, including on-site sampling and in-situ testing.
  2. Client Liaison.
  3. Preparation and presentation of test data.
  4. Training other team members on test methods as required.
  5. Cross-checking other team members’ calculations following tests.
  6. Carrying out daily vehicle checks and routine maintenance whilst maintaining cleanliness standards.
  7. Assisting in Sample Preparation when required.
  8. Ad-hoc duties as and when required.
Skills / Experience
  1. Close attention to detail and understanding of operating within a quality system.
  2. Good IT Skills (Microsoft Office base, in particular Excel and Word).
  3. Punctual with excellent time-keeping.
  4. Strong prioritising and organisational skills.
  5. Positive attitude towards changes.
  6. Adaptability to use various in-house systems and follow procedures.
  7. Full UK Driving Licence.
