Our client is seeking a Field Technician to join their team on an initial temporary basis with the potential for full-time employment.

This role, within the materials testing division of a leading UK testing services provider, is highly hands-on and involves driving to various sites to collect samples for testing.

Main Duties
  1. Site work, including on-site sampling and in-situ testing.
  2. Client liaison.
  3. Preparation and presentation of test data.
  4. Training other team members on test methods as required.
  5. Cross-checking other team members’ calculations following tests.
  6. Carrying out daily vehicle checks and routine maintenance while maintaining cleanliness standards.
  7. Assisting in sample preparation when required.
  8. Performing ad-hoc duties as needed.
Skills / Experience
  1. Attention to detail and understanding of operating within a quality system.
  2. Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  3. Punctuality and excellent time management.
  4. Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
  5. A positive attitude towards change.
  6. Ability to adapt to various in-house systems and follow procedures.
  7. Full UK Driving Licence.
