Overview

Materials Scheduler – Middlesbrough

The Compleat Food Group is looking for a Materials Scheduler to join the Supply Chain team in Middlesbrough. We strive to create tasting food that’s better for people and the planet, and operate with equal emphasis on how we work as well as the financial results.

Our 5,500+ employees are passionate about delivering delicious products for UK consumers, leading retailers and our brands, including Wall’s Pastry, Vadasz, Squeaky Bean and Unearthed.

Location: Middlesbrough

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm

Salary: £34,000 per annum

Responsibilities
  • Place purchase orders against the Materials Requirements System (MRP) using the company operating system and maintain targeted inventory levels
  • Work closely with Purchasing and Planning to ensure sites are stocked with materials in line with supplier lead times
  • Expedite outstanding deliveries and highlight problems, escalating where appropriate
  • Monitor and maintain the MRP system, marking off goods received as required
  • Organise supplier returns for non-conforming goods using the company operating system
  • Carry out ad-hoc administrative tasks (e.g., new SKU code loading, packaging databases, stock reconciliation with external cold stores)
  • Attend periodic production and planning meetings as required
