Job summary

Norgine is seeking a Materials Quality Associate to join our Global Quality Team in the UK on a 12-month fixed-term basis. You will provide quality oversight of suppliers, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in material quality across the supply chain.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Regulatory Affairs to maintain patient safety and product quality, reporting to the Materials Quality Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience in QA, QC, supplier quality or related regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP/GDP and quality systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality oversight of API, excipient and packaging material suppliers.
• Support supplier qualification, audits, documentation reviews and quality agreements.
• Investigate supplier-related quality issues, deviations, complaints and CAPAs.
• Identify and mitigate supplier and material quality risks.
• Maintain compliant quality records, procedures and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance and quality processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support Global Quality strategy.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Materials Quality Associate to join our Global Quality Team and play a vital role in ensuring the quality, compliance and reliability of materials used in the manufacture of products that improve patient outcomes.

The Role

As a Materials Quality Associate, you will provide quality oversight of commercially critical suppliers, supporting supplier performance, risk management and regulatory compliance. You will work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs and external partners to maintain the highest standards of quality and patient safety.

This position will report to Materials Quality Manager and will be offered on a 12 Months fixed-term basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage quality oversight of API, excipient and packaging material suppliers.
• Support supplier qualification, audits, documentation reviews and quality agreements.
• Investigate supplier-related quality issues, deviations, complaints and CAPAs.
• Identify and mitigate supplier and material quality risks.
• Maintain compliant quality records, procedures and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen supplier performance and quality processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to support Norgine's Global Quality strategy.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline.
• Experience within Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing or a related regulated environment.
• Knowledge of GMP/GDP requirements and quality management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Desirable

• Experience supporting supplier audits and supplier performance management.
• Experience managing investigations, deviations and CAPAs within a pharmaceutical or regulated industry environment.
