Job summary

CSP in Salisbury is seeking a Materials Superintendent to lead the materials team and ensure timely material availability to meet production schedules. You will oversee material planning, inventory control, and shipping/receiving while partnering with Production to minimize disruptions.

You will drive safety, process standardization, and continuous improvement, with accountability for KPIs and coaching of supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in automotive or Tier 1 supplier manufacturing is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote and lead a culture of safety across all operations.
• Oversee material planning, inventory control, and shipping/receiving to meet production schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and standardize processes in materials.
• Coach and develop supervisors and team members; manage performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality and materials teams to resolve issues.
