Job summary

Key Recruitment Limited is seeking a Material Scheduler in Petersfield to manage material and components scheduling, ensuring a smooth production flow and accurate PO tracking. You will raise alerts for shortages and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a feasible 0–8 week material horizon.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years in supply chain, with experience using SAP, E2Open or Kinaxis preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Operations Research or related field.
• 2-4 years of related experience in Supply Chain, preferably with manufacturing, supply planning, sourcing/purchasing and supplier management.
• Knowledge of supply planning and supplier collaboration tools (e.g., SAP, E2Open, Kinaxis) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all material and components scheduling to support uninterrupted production and ensure timely flow of chemicals and components into plants or TPM.
• Accountable for tracking and status updates of Purchase Orders.
• Raise alerts weekly and identify material shortages on the 0-8 weeks horizon.
• Engage with Material planners to close gaps and drive a material-aligned plan with Factory Scheduler team.
• Partner with SRP, MPS, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, and Warehousing to ensure an executable manufacturing schedule.
• Work with SRP and MPS to ensure material and FG alignment in the 0–6-week horizon.
• Ensure materials supportability of the FG plan and approve deviations based on material availability.
• Approve the Materials Handover process from a Materials perspective.
• Partner with Logistics to reflect accurate lead times and develop strategies for deviations.
• Collaborate with the Warehousing Team to monitor and project warehouse utilization based on scheduled deliveries vs FG plan.

Material Scheduler

Fixed Term Contract (Initially x 4 Months)

POSITION SUMMARY

The role will be responsible for the following:

• Responsible for all material and components scheduling to support un-interrupted production process, ensuring the timely and accurate flow of chemicals and components into the plants or Third Party Manufacturing (TPM), driving Plant attainment, Materials alignment on 0-8 weeks horizon and Fill rate improvement from a materials availability standpoint.
• Accountable for tracking and status update of Purchase Orders
• Responsible to raise alerts weekly and identifying material shortages on the 0-8 weeks horizon.
• Responsible to engage with Material planners to close other gaps, and to drive trade-offs with Factory Scheduler team driving to a material aligned plan
• Partnering with SRP, MPS, Manufacturing (intern & external), Quality, Logistics, and Warehousing to ensure an executable manufacturing schedule.
• Work directly with SRP and MPS to ensure material and FG alignment in the 0 – 6-week horizon.
• Accountable for materials supportability of the FG plan and approving deviations from that plan based on material availability.
• Approve the Materials Handover process from a Materials perspective.
• Partner with Logistics to ensure accurate lead times are reflected in the system and develop strategies to support deviations.
• Partner with the Warehousing Team to monitor and project warehouse utilization based on scheduled deliveries vs FG production plan

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Operations Research or related field
• Minimum 2-4 years of related experience in Supply Chain, preferably with experience in manufacturing, supply planning, sourcing / purchasing and supplier management
• Knowledge of, and experience with supply planning and supplier collaboration tools (e.g., SAP, E2Open, Kinaxis, etc.) is preferred
• Preferably prior experience in material planning in a manufacturing/production industry
