Diamond Light Source is the UK’s synchrotron science facility. By accelerating electrons to near light-speed, Diamond generates brilliant beams of light from infra-red to X-rays which are used for academic and industry research and development across a range of scientific disciplines.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and manage materials and logistics operations to support research activities.
2. Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
3. Monitor inventory levels and forecast future material needs.
4. Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Experience in materials planning or logistics management.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
