Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Materials Planner for our paisley location. In this role, you will support the leather cutting department through order scheduling and materials management tasks to ensure timely delivery of customer orders. You will report directly to the Senior Planner and play a crucial part in confirming order schedules with customers, inputting these orders into our Microsoft Dynamics (MRP) operating system, and providing necessary analysis and feedback. Your responsibilities will also include formulating production plans, tracking orders, and assisting with inventory and planning tasks to promote overall efficiency within the organization.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Experience in supply chain or production environment.
• Good communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Able to plan effectively in an environment of changing priorities.
• Capacity to work with limited guidance and determine personal priorities.
• Strong personal computing skills, especially in spreadsheet applications.
• High attention to detail in tasks and communication.
