Overview

Kinetic PLC are recruiting for a Material Planner on behalf of our client in Newcastle!

What you'll be doing

• Reviewing the ERP system daily to make sure materials are available as per BOM requirements.
• Converting ERP (Oracle ASCP) suggested requirements into purchase requisitions.
• Working closely with the Production Scheduler to identify risks and resolve material issues.
• Acting as the link between procurement, projects, and production teams to keep things moving.
• Monitoring inventory levels to maintain material flow while supporting cash flow targets.
• Ensuring data quality and accuracy in the ERP system.

What we\'re looking for

• Proven experience in Material Planning.
• Previous MRP/ERP experience - Oracle ASCP is a real bonus!
• Knowledge of Engineering BOM structures.
• Strong communication, organisation, and influencing skills.
• Confident IT skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

The details

• Location: Newcastle
• Hybrid: 1 day home office possible (after training)
• Hours: 37.5 per week, compressed week available (half-day Friday), core hours 10am-4pm
• Pay: 17.94 per hour
