Job Title: Materials Planner

Location:

South East London

Pay Rate:

£19.94 PAYE / £25.88 Umbrella per hour

Shifts & Duration:

Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:30; Minimum 1-year contract; Start ASAP

Position Summary:

Part of the Logistics team led by the Stores Team Leader. Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing material flow from suppliers to internal departments.
  2. Coordinating express deliveries to suppliers.
  3. Following up on deliveries to ensure project material availability.
  4. Monitoring supplier performance KPIs.
  5. Maintaining accurate material planning master data, complying with stock and logistics constraints.
  6. Creating and communicating material planning documents (Call-off, Schedule Agreement) and Source List.
  7. Analyzing supplier confirmations versus company needs and assessing risks.
  8. Prioritizing risk mitigation actions.
  9. Tracking OTIF delivery dates.
  10. Managing missing parts until stock is available.
  11. Resolving receiving issues (overstock, shortages, damages, documentation).
  12. Sharing delivery performance KPIs with stakeholders.
  13. Contributing to risk assessments and mitigation plans.
Candidate Profile:

Basic PC skills (MS Word/Excel). Experience with SAP and/or Maximo preferred. Self-motivated, fluent in English with good communication skills.
