Materials NDE Engineer - Manufacturing

Full-Time

Derby/Hybrid (3 days/week in the office)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) Engineer - Manufacturing to join our team in Derby.

As an NDE Engineer - Manufacturing, you will use your knowledge and expertise in development and application of NDT techniques across the product lifecycle. The role involves maintaining and managing acceptable risk levels in the NDT Supply Chain of Rolls-Royce through process auditing, consultancy, approval in production, and technology development focused on efficiency, quality, and cost goals.

What you will be doing
  • Analyzing information from multiple sources to identify effective solutions using your technical expertise and engineering judgment.
  • Providing technical support and consultancy for product development in future programs.
  • Supporting, maintaining, and improving our internal and external supply chain for NDE processes.
  • Auditing and risk assessing our supply chain against NDT procedures and processes.
  • Representing the company with suppliers and customers.
  • Promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participating in global NDE organization activities to drive change and advancement.
  • Mentoring NDT Degree Apprentices throughout their training.
Who we're looking for
