As part of our expanding Global Engineering and Scientific consulting team, you will work on complex engineering and scientific challenges, analyzing failures across industries such as automotive, construction, consumer products, electronics, and medical devices. This role involves managing client assignments, networking, and business development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct failure analysis investigations
  • Plan and execute laboratory tests
  • Assist with field inspections
  • Communicate with clients and provide counsel
  • Prepare technical reports
  • Build relationships with colleagues, peers, and clients
  • Assist in hearings, trials, and mediations
  • Manage multiple engagements and project budgets

Qualifications

  • Ph.D./Sci.D or advanced degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, or related science
  • Research background in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, combustion, or related fields
  • Experience in experimental design, hardware construction, instrumentation, data acquisition, and analysis
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Curiosity and passion for problem-solving
  • Strong deductive reasoning
  • Ability to adapt and develop creative solutions
  • Willingness to travel
  • Industry experience, including internships, valued
  • Chartered Engineer status and bilingual skills are a plus
