Materials Manager

Reporting to – Operations Manager

Location – Outskirts of Glasgow

Do you like organising and procuring materials?

Do you thrive on keeping operations running seamlessly and ensuring top-quality materials are always at the ready?

Then this could be your dream job!

You would be located very near to Glasgow airport on a large lean site, where you would be a central part of the team there – curious and solutions focused you would drive the materials from New product development influencing, driving the local and international supply chain, all the way through to customer delivery.

So, if you have a knack for logistics, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for making sure everything runs like clockwork, this might just be the perfect role for you.

Key Requirements:
  1. Experience in a similar role within manufacturing including supply chain operations, ideally in production planning, materials planning, or procurement roles.
  2. Excellent communication skills.
  3. Knowledge of lean principles and CI strategies.
  4. Background in working with small to medium enterprises (SMEs).
