JMC Aviation is working with an international cargo company based in Bournemouth, looking to recruit a new Materials Expert to join their team.

This client is known as the world's only A340-600F operator, providing unique cargo solutions along with a unique P2F conversion. Offering a wide range of services from scheduled programmes to charters and wet/dry leasing availability, the company prides itself on delivering value for its customers through operational excellence and a focus on partner cooperation.

This is a Permanent Position based in Bournemouth, working full-time, Monday - Friday.

The Role:

The primary purpose of this role is to liaise with OEM and repair agencies, source potential suppliers, and manage procurement.

Other Duties:

• Locate new supply channels
• Chase parts and orders as necessary
• Manage both operational and supply chain
• Work with repair agencies as needed
• Responsible for procurement
• Report to the Technical Director as required

Skills and Experience Required:

In order to be successful, the Materials Expert will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• A340 experience desired but not essential
• A background in supply chain and procurement
• Right to work in the UK
