Job summary

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Materials Handler to join an established business based in the Auchterarder area. The role involves handling goods in a busy warehouse, using handheld scanners to log stock, and safely operating a Counterbalance forklift.

You will work a 4-on 4-off pattern from 6:45am to 7pm with weekly pay. Access to your own transport is essential due to the site location. Immediate starts are available for experienced candidates seeking permanent employment.

Qualifications

• A valid Counterbalance forklift licence is essential.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling environment.
• Good attention to detail and numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Booking goods into stock and issuing stock for relevant jobs using handheld scanners.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Consolidating stock and returning items to designated storage locations.
• Safely manoeuvring a Counterbalance forklift within a busy warehouse environment.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and reading labels to identify correct goods.
