Job summary

Connect Appointments is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our client in the Auchterarder area. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

The role features a day shift (4-on 4-off) from 6:45am to 7:00pm, with weekly pay at £14.42 per hour. Duties include loading/unloading, moving goods around the warehouse, and maintaining safe, clear forklift operating areas. Access to own transport would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance or Reach).
• Previous forklift driving experience in a warehouse/logistics/production/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining safety and accuracy.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Team-oriented and able to follow instructions.
• Access to your own transport would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles efficiently and safely
• Transport and store materials throughout the warehouse in the correct locations
• Operate the forklift safely in a fast-paced, busy environment
• Maintain clear and hazard-free forklift operating areas
• Consolidate partial pallets to optimise storage for incoming deliveries
