Responsibilities
- Efficient unloading, handling, and storage of delivered material
- Inspection of materials to agreed quality parameters
- Ensuring correct storage both inside and outside with proper location of materials and adherence to any special instructions
- Verifying Mill certification with steel delivery – correct cast numbers
- Correct identification and marking of material with a unique traceability number
- Completing paperwork and submitting to the Purchasing Department
- Sorting and feeding production with materials according to production plans, including assisting with maneuvering materials onto and off machines, either by crane or manually
- Providing assistance in the Laser Department during downtime beyond the above functions
About You
- Recent/relevant experience in a manufacturing goods-in or warehouse environment
- Valid and current Fork Lift Truck Licence – Counterbalance Licence B2
- Slinging and lifting skills
- Collaborative working style
- Flexibility to adjust to workload priorities
- Strong communication and motivational skills
- Physical stamina for manual movement of materials
- Proficient in using warehouse/manufacturing technology and computer-based operating systems
Working Hours
37.5 hours per week, with shifts from 0600-1400, 1400-2200, and 2200-0600
