We are looking for a dedicated Materials Engineer to join our Global Technology Center (GTC) to support the development of materials for new technology applications and design concepts, often in collaboration with research programs and partners.
The Manufacturing and Materials business develops advanced materials, additive manufacturing, engine systems, and digitization solutions. Our work supports all business areas, including OEM manufacturing, space/military, civil repairs, and material solutions.
You will be responsible for technology maturation and optimizing material properties, including heat treatments and materials selection. You will coordinate testing programs, analyze test results, and support manufacturing process maturation through material characterization, including destructive and non-destructive testing.
We seek a curious individual with initiative, who enjoys working in a varied environment, thinking creatively, and working towards goals with colleagues. Strong communication skills, openness, responsibility, respect, and the ability to foster a positive atmosphere are essential.
Permanent contract, based in Trollhättan, Sweden, with travel within Sweden and EU expected.
