Uniper Technologies is the focus of Uniper's energy technologies and engineering activities whether supplying engineering and scientific expertise to Uniper's assets or enabling Uniper's ambitious decarbonisation goals. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Materials Engineer in the Materials & Structural Analysis Team within the Quality and Integrity Management Department. In this role you will be responsible for providing materials engineering support both to Uniper's power generation assets and the wider business, including failure investigations, technical support, power plant component examination and R&D. This role contains ample opportunity for individuals to demonstrate creative problem-solving approaches in a field where numerous engineering subjects come together to deliver effective solutions.

The candidate would be committed to working flexibly as part of the wider team, and as a self-starter would plan and respond to changing priorities with the ability to deliver multiple projects at the same time. The above role may require working on Uniper assets both in the UK and Europe for short periods. The work at times can be physically demanding, possibly involving working at heights and in confined spaces.
