Job summary

PiLON is seeking a reliable Warehouse/Stores operative to load and unload deliveries and oversee goods receipt in the store. You will check for defects, record materials, and assist with stock control and site logistics.

You'll support site teams by delivering materials, maintaining paperwork, and ensuring a clean, safe workspace in line with HSE guidelines. This role requires accuracy and teamwork on a busy site.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle deliveries and stock accurately.
• Familiar with health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload deliveries observing Health and Safety and Manual Handling procedures.
• Take/oversee the receipt of goods and materials into the store and check for defects.
• Check delivery notes against goods received and the order placed; indicate discrepancies to relevant teams.
• File delivery notes as required.
• Oversee and help loading of site vehicles for sites from the compound.
• Hand/deliver materials to Tradespersons as requested.
• Maintain records and paperwork; stock control and materials issued to properties.
• Maintain tools and keep the site tidy at all times.
• Transport materials using pallet trucks and handle equipment as required.
• Dispose of waste materials safely per regulations.
• Monitor supplies and report stockouts to site manager.
