We are now looking for a

Materials Controller

to join our team working for a better future.

The preferred location for the position is in Leicester, UK.

What you will be doing

As Materials Controller your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  1. Pick and deliver goods according to relevant logistics process.
  2. Pick, label and dispatch outgoing goods with relevant documents.
  3. Receive incoming goods, check for damage and discrepancies between goods and purchase orders and invoice, this using SAP and Epicor.
  4. Accurately sort, label and store goods: arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
  5. Participate in inventory checks when required to maintain stock accuracy.
  6. Participate in a full stock take when required.
  7. Actively participate in continuous improvement processes of development quality, delivery, safety, and methods.
  8. Keep the stores and warehouse area clean and tidy according to depot guidelines and ensure you work within Health and Safety guidelines and practices.
  9. Help, coach, and develop other colleagues in daily work.
  10. Any other duties as required.
  11. Operate Fork truck/work equipment or machinery (with licenses when required).
