Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Material Verification & Document Controller to reinforce the Quality and Metallurgy function in a regulated manufacturing environment in Huddersfield.

You will review certificates, manage NCRs, ensure traceability, and liaise with Quality, Engineering, Procurement and suppliers. Experience with SAP and ISO 9001 is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection, materials or engineering/manufacturing.
• Familiar with material certificates and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of NCRs, traceability and ISO 9001.
• Strong attention to detail with good communication and organisational skills.
• Experience with SAP, metallurgy, heat treatment, NDT or material testing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a Material Verification & Document Controller to join an established engineering organisation operating within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Working as part of the Quality and Metallurgy function, you will be responsible for ensuring incoming materials and components meet the required technical specifications, certification and quality standards.

The Role

• Review and verify material certificates and test documentation against engineering specifications.
• Ensure materials meet relevant quality standards and traceability requirements.
• Raise and manage NCRs for non-conforming materials.
• Maintain accurate inspection, certification and quality records.
• Liaise with Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain and suppliers.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience within quality inspection, materials or engineering/manufacturing.
• Familiar with material certificates and technical documentation.
