Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a Material Resource Planning Controller - Buy (MRPC - Buy) for a hybrid role in Warwick. You will develop and maintain detailed material delivery plans, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to align with the master production plan.

The role requires strong SAP/ERP experience, excellent planning and stakeholder management, and a readiness to travel up to 50%. This contract position offers exposure to a leading energy technology and engineering

Qualifications

• Experience in material resource planning, production planning, and supply chain within engineering/manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of MRP, production planning and supply chain controls.
• Experience with SAP or ERP: managing planning data, purchase orders, delivery schedules and planning exceptions.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers to improve delivery performance and resolve shortages.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain detailed material and component planning schedules to support the master production plan.
• Respond to demand changes by assessing impact on supplier delivery commitments and communicating risks.
• Ensure planning data and master data are accurate to enable smooth flow of demand through the supply chain.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure materials are available in correct quantities and times.
• Reflect supplier commitments and schedule lines in SAP/ERP accurately.
• Investigate delivery discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions to protect the delivery plan.
• Lead supplier reviews to assess performance against requirements (quality, cost, delivery).
