Salary: £15.00 - £22.99p/h

We're looking for a Material Planning Analyst to join a world-class manufacturing team based in Peterlee. This role plays a vital part in ensuring materials flow efficiently and accurately to support the production of high-quality machinery used in industries across the globe-from mining to construction.
You'll work with suppliers, schedulers, and operations teams to keep production running smoothly and efficiently. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy solving complex supply chain challenges, this could be the perfect opportunity.
Ensuring timely material delivery by collaborating with suppliers and internal teams
Managing material planning through MRP and supplier collaboration tools
Resolving supply issues to maintain production flow and material availability
Tracking supplier performance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Aligning planning parameters with inventory systems to maintain accuracy and integrity
Providing clear and effective communication with both internal stakeholders and external partners
Strong background in material planning and scheduling
Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
Confident working with MRP systems and inventory planning tools
Skilled in data analysis and root-cause problem-solving
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software
Able to work independently and within a team environment
APICS or equivalent supply chain certification
Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
Knowledge of Six Sigma principles and methodology
