Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Materials Planner for a 12-month assignment in Cheltenham. You will generate daily and weekly production schedules, manage shortages, release job cards in line with MRP, and coordinate with operations to commit outputs.

The role requires strong Excel skills, the ability to work under pressure, and effective collaboration within a matrix organization. The successful candidate will help ensure on-time starts and finishes and maintain data integrity in the ERP system.

• Release job cards in line with MRP and action exception messages
• Collaborate with ops team to provide output commits
• Define daily/weekly production goals to track adherence to the plan
• Collaborate with ops team to ensure resources are appropriately allocated and aligned to achieve the plan
• The applicant must be a good team player flexible and be able to work to tight schedules.
• Monitor the integrity of job card data to ensure MRP signals are correct

Rate: £23.94/hour

About our Client:

Our client is a leading aerospace engineering company specializing in jet engines, avionics, and integrated systems for both military and commercial aircraft. They operate major UK facilities, including maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) sites.

Essential Responsibilities

• Generate daily and weekly production schedule
• Manage shortages to maximize clear to build and on time starts/finishes
• Release job cards in line with MRP and action exception messages
• Collaborate with ops team to provide output commits
