Position Summary

Responsible for the production planning and inventory management of a portfolio of chemicals.

Job Responsibilities
  • Preparation of the weekly production schedule in line with sales, operations and inventory planning (SiOP) supply plan requirements
  • Ensure all production orders reflect accurate production dates.
  • Management of inventory for a chemical portfolio.
  • Running, reporting and assessing key performance indicators (critical metrics) for the chemical portfolio.
  • Master data management (MDM) across 3 independent systems.
  • Support in root cause analysis (RCA) and root cause countermeasure (RCCM) for any critical metrics that do not achieve target
  • Collaboration with operations departments to optimise production performance
  • Active participation in collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment (CPFR) calls with customer service and commercial teams to ensure customers have the latest information about their sales orders.
  • Provide planning / purchasing cover during team absence.
  • Other duties as appropriate
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree / equivalent combination of education & experience
  • Proficient in MS Office especially Advanced Excel.
  • Meticulous with excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
