Gleesons has been partnered with a Global Business for an exciting opportunity for a Material Planner to join a dynamic and forward-thinking company.

Job Title: Material Planner

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain material plans to meet production demands while ensuring optimal inventory levels.
  • Use ERP/MRP systems to track and manage inventory and material availability.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely material delivery and address any supply chain disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date planning data, including lead times, safety stock levels, and order quantities.
  • Collaborate closely with production and procurement teams to align material supply with production schedules.
  • Monitor supplier performance and escalate any concerns or delays to relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to supply chain process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in material planning, production planning, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Solid working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
