Material Planner

Are you a Material Planner looking to sharpen your analytical skillset in a fast-paced, customer-facing role? Do you have experience using Excel to solve problems, improve material flow and keep customers fully informed?

This is a 12-month contract with an established, high-volume operation where you'll be trusted to own customer orders end-to-end, protect service levels and keep premium freight to a minimum through smart planning and decisive action.

You'll gain broad exposure across multiple stakeholders and teams, building credibility through root cause thinking, continuous improvement, and strong day-to-day communication with customers and internal partners.

In this role you'll be on-site in Desford, managing priorities, expediting/de-expediting where needed, and proactively identifying risk to customer production through effective material planning and problem-solving.

This role suits a driven person who wants high-skill development through analytical problem-solving and continuous improvement, rather than a purely routine planning position.
