Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world-leading global organisation. Our client, a leading global FMCG company with brands such as Domestos, Comfort, Persil & TRESemmé, is currently looking for CB3 5crew Material Movie with FLT to work in their prestigious facility in Port Sunlight. This is a temporary position, with an immediate start, expected to last 4 months (to be reviewed). The pay rate will be £20.28 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week.

FLT license (COUNTERBALANCE) that is RTITB or ITSSAR accredited and has been refreshed in the last 3 years is essential for this role.

Applicants must be available to work shifts covering a 24/7 pattern, Monday to Sunday, following a 5-crew shift pattern:

• 2 x 12-hour days followed by 2 x 12-hour nights, then up to 6 days off (current pattern)
• 2 x 12-hour days followed by 2 x 12-hour nights, then up to 4 days off during summer (end Q2, beginning Q3), including a paid 18-day break

During the first 3 days of your "Offs," there may be on-call shifts in case of sickness.

Bank holidays and public holidays are included in the shift pattern.

Reporting to the Operations Leader, the successful candidate will proactively troubleshoot and fault-find on a high-speed production line to enhance operational efficiency and drive performance. They will analyze technical/mechanical problems, research solutions, and implement improvements, demonstrating a positive attitude towards change.

The ideal candidate will value high-quality and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and site policies.

Effective communication skills are essential, with the ability to convey ideas clearly both verbally and in writing. The candidate should work well within a team to meet and exceed factory and team targets.

Required experience and qualifications:

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment or relevant educational background in manufacturing or engineering
• Fault-finding skills and attention to detail
• Previous qualifications/experience in mechanical or technical fields are advantageous but not essential
• FLT Counterbalance license is essential
• Good IT literacy skills are highly desirable
• Knowledge of SAP systems is beneficial
