Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is recruiting a Material & Logistics Handler for its Dagenham site on a temp-to-perm basis. The role oversees receipt, storage, movement and dispatch of materials, ensuring stock accuracy and timely deliveries.

You will operate Counterbalance Forklift, use SAP/ERP systems and maintain stock; 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7:00–16:00 and Friday 7:00–12:00. GBP16.00 per hour during the temporary period with a path to permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or materials control environment.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Computer literate with ERP or inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and offloading incoming deliveries and processing receipts.
• Performing goods-in inspections and updating SAP/ERP records.
• Managing stock replenishment and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
• Carrying out stock checks and cycle counts.
