Job summary

Randstad Inhouse Services is seeking a Production Operative in West Thurrock (near Lakeside) to work a long-term, regular shift pattern. All hours run Monday to Friday with a rotating 3-week pattern.

You will ensure safety and quality on the line, carry out line replenishment, operate hoist and powered equipment, and follow SOPs. The role offers on-site parking, a site restaurant, and weekly pay at £17.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in production/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to follow Safe Operating Procedures and guidelines.
• Effective verbal and written communication with colleagues.
• Willingness to take ownership and complete tasks to a high standard.
• High attention to detail and disciplined work approach.

Responsibilities

• Safety: take responsibility for safety at all times.
• All safety incidents, near misses and defects to be reported using relevant systems.
• Quality: ensure quality on your shift and training completion at 100%.
• Replenishing the line with raw materials.
• Replenishing the packing line and moving materials with hoist and pumped truck.

Do you have experience in a production and manufacturing environment? We are currently looking for Production Operative to work in West Thurrock (near Lakeside) in a long term regular shift pattern assignment. All hours completed between Monday & Friday

Hours of Work and Pay Rate:

£17.75 per hour inclusive of shift allowance

Week 1

Monday 06:00 to 18:00, Tuesday 06:00 to 18:00, Thursday 18:00 to 06:00 and Friday 18:00 to 06:00

Week 2

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 06:00 to 18:00

Week 3

Monday Tuesday and Wednesday 18:00 to 06:00

Then repeat

Responsibilities:

Safety

You are responsible safety at all times

All incidents, near misses and safety related defects to be reported using the relevant systems

All safety related training to be maintained at 100% at all times

Carry out safety checksQuality

Training completion is 100% for your shift at all times

All results must be recorded in a timely and precise fashion

All quality & safety incidents must be reported and followed up with an investigation

Replenishing the line was raw materials

Replenishing the packing line with cardboard tube formers

Operation of hoist to move large supersacks of materials

Operation of Powered pump truck to move pallets

Requirements:

• Willingness to learn new skills to develop own and expertise.
• Ability to work independently and to a high standard, following Safe Operating procedures and other guidelines.
• Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders verbally and in writing.
