Job description

Overview

Naphcare is seeking a Material Handler to work at our Pharmacy Department located at our Corporate Office in Birmingham, AL. This is an evening shift from 12pm to 9pm Monday through Friday. The Material Handler is in charge of shipping, receiving, and inventory movement within the facility.

Responsibilities
  • Receive materials and store in correct location
  • Appropriately package outgoing shipments for delivery
  • Assist with the timely fulfillment and delivery of products
  • Work with team members to meet set goals
  • Load and unload pallets and individual cases from trucks, as well as collecting empty pallet boards
  • Assist in weekly product inventory
  • Managing inventory by identifying, cataloging, and recording the location of inventory
  • Performing stock checks to rotate product and remove out of date drugs on a monthly basis
  • Other duties as instructed per manager
Qualifications
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to lift more than 75 pounds consistently without assistance
  • Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods of time
  • Availability to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings
  • Reliable attendance
  • Professional organizational and communication skills.
