Job summary

Pailton Engineering Limited is seeking a Material Handler to ensure the production team is supplied with parts in a timely manner at the Coventry site.

Reporting to the Stores Supervisor, you will move parts on the shopfloor, issue materials against Job Cards, and assist with inventory counting across Stores, Bulk and Dispatch.

Accurate handling and sign-off of material movements help maintain smooth production and support lean improvements within the operation.

A Material Handler's main responsibility is to make sure that the production team is supplied with parts in a timely manner.

Reports to Stores Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

• Movement of parts on shopfloor from one area in a timely manner.
• Issuing of material against Job Cards.
• Assisting with inventory counting with Stores, Bulk and Dispatch.
• Perpetual counting and sense checking of quantities declared by Production and ensuring job sign off completion.
