Job description

Role: Material Handler
Hours: 37hpw, 06:30 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday
Salary: starting hourly rate is £15.69 p/hr

Looking for a hands‑on role where you can be part of a supportive team and help keep production moving?

We’re looking for a Materials Handler to join our Materials team in Warwick. You’ll help make sure the right materials are in the right place at the right time, supporting our production teams and keeping stock accurate and organised.

What you’ll be doing
  • Supplying materials to production accurately and on time.
  • Receiving, storing and distributing parts.
  • Maintaining accurate stock and inventory records.
  • Working with colleagues across different teams to resolve day‑to‑day issues.
  • Helping improve the way materials are handled and supplied.
  • Following safe working practices and contributing to a safe working environment.
  • Supporting different activities within the Materials team when needed.
What we’re looking for

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience receiving, storing or distributing parts.
  • Good organisation and attention to detail.
  • A practical approach to problem‑solving.
  • The ability to use inventory management systems.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • The ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

Experience using Microsoft applications or inventory systems would be useful. Forklift, reach truck, sideloader, driving or overhead crane licences would also be beneficial, but they’re not essential for the role.

The role involves moving between different areas at our Warwick site and includes activities such as stooping, reaching and lifting.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Even if you don't meet every requirement, we value potential and are committed to supporting your development.

We recognise the importance of flexibility and offer a range of flexible and hybrid working arrangements where the nature of the role and business needs allow.

At Dennis Eagle, we are proud to be an equal opportunities employer and a Disability Confident organisation. We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone is treated with respect and has the opportunity to succeed. As part of this commitment, we guarantee an interview to disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the role. If you require any adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know and we'll be happy to support you.
